Quinta de Cadafaz
VOLUNTEERS AT QUINTA DE CADAFAZ
Starting this season, Quinta de Cadafaz has a lot of jobs for volunteers and trainees (agriculture, tourism, construction etc).
In cooperation with “Junta de Frequesia de Cepos” we are cleaning the complete valley of Quinta de Cadafaz. In this beautiful forest we are going to make nice short- and long walking-tracks. Taking you to the hide-a-way water springs and the beautiful mountain views.
Next to this we have the whole year little jobs: repairing the old walls, taking care of the goats and the other animals, helping in the kitchen etc renewing the old Portuguese mountain houses etc.
We offer our volunteers and trainees a place to sleep in a little bungalow or tent [bring your own sleeping bag] and 3 meals per day. The costs of the bar you have to pay off course.
You are welcome in the period: 15 February till 15 October. Please realize that everybody wants to come in summertime, but in summerseason we have place for 3 volunteers or trainees only. So if you have the possibility to come before or after summer time, it is almost sure that you can spend some weeks in the middle of nature.
